Flexigel Thread[edit]
Flexigel thread is formed from alchemically processed ooze materials turned into silk-like threads that twitch and flex. It allows weapons to bend, and armor to cause you to bend. Flexigel thread in its default form is a smoky gray semi-translucent fabric that feels like soft gel-like plastic to the touch, and can be easily dyed different colors. The material is extracted from oozes as part of their binding agent. It is used for flexible weapons and fabric armor and clothing.
Only flexible weapons such as whips can be made of flexigel thread. Attacks with said weapon ignore partial or soft cover as the weapon twists and flexes around obstructions. If you have the reach, it can turn up to 90 degrees to attack around corners (concealment still applies).
Armor and clothing made of flexigel thread causes the users body to more easily bend in ways that test the limits of biology. It provides a +3 bonus to Escape Artist checks and grapple checks made to escape a grapple. Against damage from constriction, grapple, or swallow whole it gains DR 3/- and Acid Resistance 3. It is easier to move in, lowering armor check penalties by 3 and arcane spell failure by 10%.
Flexigel thread has 10 hit points per inch of thickness and hardness 0. Flexigel quarters bludgeoning, electric, and sonic damage, is immune to acid, and halves all other damage except piercing and slashing which deals full damage.
