Greatreach Maneuver [Metamaneuver]
Prerequisites: Ability to initiate any touch-range or melee-range maneuver.Benefit: You can use a melee-range maneuver at a range. The attack type is still the same (Normal or touch attack), but it uses your ranged modifiers rather than your melee modifiers (I.e., Dexterity instead of Strength); Arcs of ki energy ripple out from your weapon orbody as you swing and thrust, punch and kick, hitting your target as long as they're within Close range (25ft, plus 5ft per 2 initiator levels).
Greatreach Maneuver can only be used on maneuvers of a level lower than the highest-level maneuver you're capable of using; So if you can use 7th-level maneuvers, this can only be used on maneuvers of 6th level or lower. This is affected by initiator level decreases.
Once you initiate a Greatreach Maneuver, you suffer a penalty to your initiator level equal to the maneuver's level for 1 round. While this penalty is in effect, your higher-level maneuvers will become unavailable, but aren't expended or lost and will be available once the penalty ends.
