Harmonic Courage (Mental)
Your voices join in harmony, inspiring others to fight on with all they've got.Prerequisites: Inspire Courage Bardic Music, Perform 3 ranksBenefit: Harmonic skill tricks are a free action, made as part of starting or joining one or more bardic music attempts. Only one singer need have the skill trick for it to function, though the extra benefits of the skill trick vanish if all singers with the skill trick cease.
Harmonic courage is made as part of a inspire courage attempt. In addition to the normal effects of inspire courage, additional singers can choose to apply one of the following additional effects to the song.
- Inspire Safety: Inspire courage bonus applies as a morale bonus to AC.
- Inspire Endurance: Inspire courage bonus applies to Fortitude saves.
- Inspire Reactions: Inspire courage bonus applies to Reflex saves.
- Inspire Willpower: Inspire courage bonus applies to Will saves. This stacks with the bonus against charm and fear.
- Inspire Motion: Affected creatures gain a +5 foot morale bonus to speed for every 1 point of inspire courage.
The highest inspire courage effect applies to all off the effects. Benefits overlap, they do not stack.
Normal: Inspire courage applies to attack, damage, and saves vs charm and fear effects only.Special: Learning this skill trick grants you a +1 bonus on Perform checks.
