Hellkin Paragon[edit]
A few hellkin pursue the power within their infernal blood, some do so by becoming sorcerers and warlocks. However some dwell on the secret of their heritage and hellfire, becoming hellkin paragons. Hellkin paragon embody the traits of the hellkin, granting them stronger hellfire breath and improved infernal abilities. Those who make it to the end of the class become full devils.
Making a Hellkin Paragon[edit]
Abilities: Any.
Races: Only a hellkin can become a hellkin paragon.
Alignment: Any, although hellkin paragon overwhelmingly tend to be lawful evil.
Class Features[edit]
All of the following are class features of the Hellkin Paragon.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Hellkin paragons being outsider are already proficient with all martial weapons, they do not receive any additional proficiency.
Allegiance: A 1st level hellkin paragon decide on her allegiance, she either gain Diabolic Disciple or the Black Disciple feat. If you are not evil you do not get any benefits from this ability.
Infernal Career: A 1st level hellkin paragon must choose one of the following:
Sorcery: The Hellkin paragon receive spells per day and spells known as if they had taken levels in sorcerer. They stack with actual sorcerer levels, with one restriction. Levels in hellkin paragon only give access to a limited list of spells, they only may select conjuration, enchantment, evocation and illusion spells. If all of their effective sorcerer spellcasting levels come from this class, and they continue to advance in a prestige class, the spellcasting selection remains limited until they take an actual level in sorcerer. Even if they have an actual level in sorcerer, they are limited in selection while taking levels in this class. Bonus spells per day and spell DCs are Charisma based.
Initiator: The hellkin paragon gain a single maneuver-like ability at 1st level and your initiator level is equal to your character level. At 4th and 8th level you gain another maneuver-like ability. If you take levels in an initiator class, the maneuvers and initiator level remain separate, but you may refresh them as normal maneuver-like abilities or with the refresh ability of any of your initiator classes.
Invocator: The hellkin paragon gain a single least invocation, her caster level is equal to her character level. At 3rd and 6th level she may choose one least or lesser invocation and at 9th level she may select one least, lesser or greater invocation. She add her class level to any invocation-using class for the purpose of determining what kind of invocation she can learn and to determine her caster level, but nothing else.
Mortal Disguise (Su): A 1st level hellkin paragon gain change shape however they can only turn into one particular small or medium humanoid form. Whenever she gain a class level she gain another form she can turn into and may retire one of her form and replace it with another.
Damage Reduction (Su): A 2nd level hellkin paragon gain DR /Silver and Magic equal to her class level +2.
See in Darkness (Su): A 2nd level hellkin paragon gain see in darkness as a devil.
Molten Brimstone Breath (Su): A 3rd level hellkin paragon's brimstone breath become molten devilish spew.
Hellfire Projection (Su): A 4th level hellkin paragon can blast hellfire from her feet, projecting herself in the air. She essentially the ability of a pair of Rocket Boots that use no fuels. Instead when she use the turbo boost she has an effective pool of fuel equal to her class x2, which refresh at the rate of 1 per round.
Hellfire Resistance (Ex): A 4th level hellkin paragon's resistance to hellfire granted by Occult Resistance increase by 5 points.
Brimstone Spit (Su): A 5th level hellkin paragon can now use her brimstone breath as a molten fireball, doing so increase the recharge time by 2 round.
Devil's Contract (Su): A 5th level binding contract as a supernatural ability at will.
Ability Bonus (Su): At 6th level hellkin paragon gain a +2 bonus to one ability score of her choice.
Brimstar Spit (Su): At 7th level a hellkin paragon can now use her Brimstone Breath as a molten firestar, doing so increase the recharge time by 5 rounds.
Baatorian Ascension: A 9th level hellkin paragon become a full devil, she gain the devil subtype and the extraplanar subtype, she count as being native to Baator. Additionally, once per day she can plane shift to Baator (self only) or to the material plane if she is on Baator.
