Magma[edit]
Coils of molten rock curled around the blade, and every blow brought the ground burning red hot.
Magma weapons deal +1d6 fire damage on every strike, and leave blobs of molten rock in its wake. For 1 round, magma falls on the ground in the space you attacked and creatures passing through or ending their turn in that space take your any fire damage your weapon deals (including materials and enhancements, but no other sources). For example, a Flaming-Flaming Burst-Magma Longsword would leave a puddle of 3d6 fire damage in its wake. No matter how many times a creature passes in the area they only take the damage from the puddle of magma once per round.
As a standard action you can generate a more persistent blob of magma that lasts for 2 rounds per +1 enhancement bonus in a 5 ft square. It can be useful for boring through materials or heating objects, and the larger puddle is thicker and acts as difficult terrain.
Faint Conjuration; CL 5th; Craft Magic Arms and Armor, flaming sphere; Price: +2.
