It stings when it swings, like the sweetness it brings. With a jab and a poke, this sabre will make 'em split!
With its oh-so peachy crystalline blade, leaf-shaped hand guard and fancy brown leather hilt, this rapier balances well in the hand and cuts the air with a soft singing whisper when swung. The scent of peaches emanates faintly from it.
The peachy-keen sabre's weapon's wielder may apply their Dexterity modifier instead of their Strength modifier to attack and damage rolls with the weapon. On a successful critical hit, the weapon deals +1d10 [Fruit] energy damage. Additionally, the weapon remains in hand as if the wielder possessed the Staunch Grip feat.
The sabre comes pre-fitted with a brown tourmaline as a weapon enhancement crystal. When slotted into a +1 or higher enhancement weapon, the crystal may be used 1/day to add a +4 bonus on a roll to confirm a critical hit with the weapon, which may be used after the result has been determined.
This magical +1 keen crystal stingray leather grip rapier shouldn't exist. When detected, it shows as being of the Fruit school of magic. For the purposes of enhancing it further, it counts as a total +2 weapon (+1 base enhancement plus +1 from keen).
The peachy keen sabre is a unique item and cannot be replicated, but it can be enhanced or destroyed as normal.
Prerequisites: Craft Magic Arms and Armor and fruit edge or hawthorne strike.
Cost to Create: 8,750 gp + 320 gp (for masterwork crystal rapier), 700 EXP, 18 days.
