You hold up your spyglass to your eye, and the enemy's secrets pour over the lens in a flurry of numbers and letters. Stats, bar graphs, secret abilities... now you know what to expect.

With this spell, you target one particular creature type and receive a flood of information on the enemy. You may make an appropriate Knowledge check to identify your opponent and learn all its information and class levels, even if you have no ranks. You receive an insight bonus equal to your caster level + 5 on this check. If you fail your Knowledge check, you still divine the creature's name, type, and CR, but nothing else.

Focus: One spyglass worth 100 gp.
