::::I was going for more of the style of the Wizard or Sorcerer, where a single class feature is sufficient to let them do everything. You can't use Bonus Feat multiple times because I don't feel like it's worth making an exception, and because even one scaling feat at a time is sufficient to give plenty of versatility in that respect.
