Making magic contracts with them are also quite potent as you channel to power of these ancient scaled ones. Your powers seem intertwined with elemental power or the strength of alignment, and many effects some with a strange metallic or chromatic shine. As part of gaining this bloodline you gain the Dragonblood subtype.
