Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Nightmare Sculptor.
Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in a spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one spellcasting class before becoming a Nightmare Sculptornightmare sculptor, you must decide which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.
Create Undead Amalgamation Ex: A Nightmare Sculptornightmare sculptor's main specialty is the creation of special undead made from the corpses of multiple creatures. To create an undead amalgamation, a Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor must spend 1 hour of work and 100 GP of reagents per hit dice she wishes her creation to have, afterward she must cast animate dead with no further material cost. A Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor cannot create an undead amalgamation with more hit dice than her character level. The Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor must provide a number of hit dice worth of corpses that can be animated equal to the hit dice of the undead amalgamation she wishes to create. The corpses must be within one size category of the undead amalgamation she wishes to create (see below).
An undead amalgamation acts as a astral construct, to select an ability from any menu one of the component corpses must have possessed a similar ability. An undead amalgamation is of the undead type rather than being a construct. The level of the astral construct is determined by the number of hit dice it is given, an undead amalgamation with 10 HD would be a 6th level astral construct. An undead amalgamation cannot be given a different amount of hit dice than any listed astral construct. Unlike an astral construct, an undead amalgamation is an instantaneous creation. They count against the normal hit dice limit of controlled undead as normal.
Spare Parts Ex: At 2nd level, the Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor may create a 1 hit dice undead amalgamation without any cost after creating an undead amalgamation of 5 hit dice or higher. At each level beyond 2nd, she increases the amount of hit dice she may give to her new undead amalgamation by 1, but to do so she must also first create an undead amalgamation of 1 hit dice higher. The undead amalgamation counts as having been created from the same corpse components as it predecessor, regardless of size.
Undead Master: A 2nd level Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor gains the Undead Master feat as a bonus feat.
Extravagant Creation Ex: When a 3rd level Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor creates an undead amalgamation, she can select two abilities from the list menu instead of one.
Stingy Necromancer Ex: The art of a difficult art to fund, and thus the Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor must know how to work with what she has. At 4th level she halves the material component cost to create an undead amalgamation, to raise an undead with animate dead, create undead or create greater undead.
Perfect Creation Ex: At 5th level, when the Nightmare Sculptor nightmare sculptor creates an undead amalgamation she may add one extraordinary or supernatural ability one of the component corpses was able to use instead. This is instead of the extra ability granted by Extravagant Creation, she must decide which one to use whenever she creates an undead amalgamation. The ability must be coming from corpses whose hit dice are lower than the undead amalgamation.
