The caster produces with a flourish, as though through sleight of hand, an object or animal that they can hold in their hand. Often the spellcaster may produce an item seemingly from their pocket, sleeve, or hat, but it can just as easily come from behind their hand.
The object is of regular quality, and size is only limited by the what the spellcaster can hold in one hand (treat as light load carrying capacity) and with one of its dimensions smaller than the caster's hand. A particularly large caster such as an ogre could conjure something like a barrel of ale using this spell. The item cannot exceed a value of 10 gp per caster level nor can it be a specific item such as a key to a particular lock or an invitation to an event. If an animal is conjured it is it perfectly docile and cannot attack in any way; it is never allowed an attack roll. If damaged then it will vanish. When the duration expires or the spell is dimissed the object or animal will vanish.
