Spurt Shot [General, Fighter]
Prerequisites: 15 dexterity or strength, combat expertise, precise shotBenefit: When striking a foe with a ranged weapon, you may in lieu of your regular attacks do a special ranged shot at the foe, the target if hit takes damage as usual and must make a Fortitude DC 15 + 1/2 the attackers BAB or take 2d4 bleed damage each round until the application of healing magic which heals at least 8 damage or the target has a DC 20 + ability score modifier used by the ranged weapon on them Heal check done on them. Bleeding from this feat overlaps but does not stack.
Example: Mary uses her crossbow and uses spurt shot on a thug. It works and the thug starts takes 2d4 bleed damage each round. The thug must find healing magic or have a successful use of the Heal skill which in this case the DC is DC 26 from someone to stop the bleeding.Special: Creatures without blood or a similar fluid are immune. On a critical hit the bleed damage starts right away, no saving throw. Creatures immune to critical hits but that still have blood get a 2+ bonus to resist bleeding instead of no save.
A fighter may choose this as a bonus feat
