Talk:Archetype (3.5e Feat Type)
Missing Rules[edit]
I seem to recall rules for archetype feats that you could only have one, scaled off your HD (that's obvious in each page, but summarized in the glossary page), and (maybe, can't remember) you could only take them at level 1. What happened to these rules? Surgo (talk) 19:05, 19 March 2013 (UTC)
Inversion of the anti-hero and -villain[edit]
Strikes me that the "Anti-hero" and "Anti-villain" feats should be reversed; what defines these archetypes, roughly, is that they act according to their alignment through means that more befit the opposite alignment. This should mean that an anti-hero should be able to harness the powers of darkness or whatever that are normally available to evil guys, and the anti-villain might be a paladin or somesuch who turns out to have corrupt motives. Also, it might make sense to include some other abilities pertaining to how "codes" atonements for instance might work.
