Lez hit it right on the nose, this has no place in the flavor of psionics.

I probably sound like a broken record by now but: Psion/Wilder Non-Personal Healing Power.

This one can cure pretty much all existing statuses except ability drain and maybe negative level. Grand, we needed something better than SRD:Psionic Restoration, two whole levels below and available to everyone!

Worse yet, the 2nd augment say "cures all negative conditions on touched creature, including:" which imply that it cure ability drain, burn, level loss and whatnot.

I am extra salty here, because we had plenty of discussion about psionic healing and why it a selfish and rare talent. But I feel that the author keep trying to make them the best healers in the game, especially with powers like these.

A few things:

  1. This was designed to do most of the cure conditions at the same level as restoration! It only treats weaker conditions without augments.
  2. Your argument that psionics cannot have stuff is tired. You can use this power to heal your tiredness.
  3. Did fix to explicitly not allow it to heal ability burn, level loss, etc. Good catch.
  4. If we thought WoTC guidelines were perfect none of us would be writing homebrew.
  5. Did remove from Psion/Wilder, now just on Egotist and Vitalist lists.

A few things:
  1. Psionic Restoration is level 6 and do not cure most of those conditions. In fact no equivalent spell is that versatile...
  2. You know next to nothing about designing psionic things, you started at most a month ago with attempting to add necromancy and healing to psionic. Kept using the wrong disciplines for both and made basic mistakes about the system, which happen up to this day. I see no reason for my argument to be 'tired', psionic has it own identity and I don't feel those powers fit that identity.
  3. I mean, the wording is still not great. "Most, including" again imply the list is extremely broad with examples. Now it a bit harder to argue that it can cure 'dead'.
  4. What WotC made isn't perfect, that doesn't mean many of us don't appreciate the flavor and identity of a product and wish to keep consistent. I think telekinesis was done horribly, so I remade the powers.
  5. It still better than most equivalent spells, this spell has a huge utility value that just wait to be Overchanneled.
You have been the only one fighting for these psionic healing powers, against a chunk of the community who are against. You may call my opinion and argument 'tired', but being stubborn isn't the same as being right. Psionics is psionics and if you don't like I don't know why you are designing for it. --Leziad (talk) 11:16, 28 June 2019 (MDT)

Salvage[edit]

I've begun the salvage operation. And honestly, I am in agreement with others when it comes to psionics and healing. Mechanics aside, it is flavor busted and encroaches too much into the territory of others. I'll let others handle this one. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 03:19, 10 July 2019 (MDT)
