It's like super-immunity to an energy type... I love it.

The concept itself is a classic, as is the subtrope where a creature is healed by an elemental attack.

Classification Confusion[edit]

Why is this in the condition table, instead of the creature ability table? --Franken Kesey 06:15, 5 November 2011 (UTC)

I sure hope this ability is rare, given that it's so powerful (I would halve this number, honestly). Namely, a fire elemental with this ability could simply lay in a pool of lava for 20d6 healing/round. Talk about efficient fast healing! -HarrowedMind (talk) 18:19, 8 September 2013 (UTC)

Alternative absorption benefits?[edit]

About nine months ago, I adapted Electivire to D&D. Its Motor Drive has been interpreted as electricity absorption that, instead of healing Electivire, buffs its Dexterity and movement speed. I'm just wondering, is this okay with you? And what other alternative uses could energy absorption theoretically be put to? --Luigifan18 (talk) 20:59, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

You could give it haste like some golems when hit by a kind of energi or for each x amount of energy absorbed i could gain 1 energy pool point it could then spend these energy points on speciel attacks or boost abilities... kind of like xenotheric ability bio-energy can be used for a hell of a lot diffrent things (you could even just giv it bio-energy and some of the feats from there toghter with a rule about it only charges up when energy is absorbed) Wildmage Talk 21:24, 19 August 2013 (UTC)
