Talk:Eternal Demon Blade of the Youkai (3.5e Equipment)

Ritual Number[edit]
I'm working on a Functional Weapon of Legacy and I'm looking at the ones here on the wiki and notice most of them have five rituals instead of three, and the abilities don't state at which levels they are gained? Standard Legacy items have up to three rituals - Least (Abilities at levels 5 thru 10), Lesser (levels 11-16) and Greater (Abilities 17-20). Are you guys using a different system that I somehow missed? If so, what are the details on that? --Zhenra-Khal (talk) 00:51, 26 October 2017 (MDT)
- I will need to return home to refer to my books later, but off hand I believe you are referencing the create-your-own guidelines? I recall them just being guidelines, and that some of the examples in question broke that pattern. As far as why the wiki ones have five; no particular reason. Seems that format became popular, but from what I can tell a WoL can have as few as one to NI rituals. Five was just interesting since it lined up nicely to a +1 to +5 weapon arrangement. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 17:22, 26 October 2017 (MDT)
- Oh okay. I made a thing and was trying to work on making an example NPC, which means also making an example Legacy weapon, etc. The class doesn't work very well with the different numbers of rituals so I suppose I need to work on that. --Zhenra-Khal (talk) 17:25, 26 October 2017 (MDT)
