What books are Factotum and Eternal Blade in? --Lord Mattos 02:55, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- Dungeonscape and Tome of Battle respectively. --Ghostwheel 03:05, February 11, 2010 (UTC)
- The table says only 1 level of Factotum while the text below it says 2 Factotum and no Fighter. Similarly, parts of the text treat the build as having Factotum 2 while others treat it as not having Factotum 2. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.245.129.175 (talk • contribs) at
- Thanks! Fixed where I saw, let me know if I missed anywhere? --Ghostwheel 07:14, June 30, 2010 (UTC)
- I don't get what the one level of Factotum is for. 3 levels helps you get Brains over Brawn and only take the 1 BAB. Take the 3 levels or take none. Once you lose the 1 BAB and can't get Eternal Blade 10 you might as well take the 3 levels of Factotum. I am working on a factotum 3 swashbuckler 3 warblade 13 EB 1 (EB1 at 13 to get the fun RP sooner rather than later). I get the level nine maneuver but it does well leveling up instead of just at the late levels. Overall I love the int based warrior ideas and one like Link automatically rocks. One feat to look into is keen intellect and that should help with being high int low wis.
- The reason for that is because you want to get higher-level maneuvers as soon as possible. Taking 2 non-warblade levels means you're only 1 level behind. If we took 3 non-warblade levels, now we effectively "lost" 2 more levels before we gain higher-level maneuvers. That sorta make sense? Also I'm not sure how Keen Intellect adds that much to the build... isn't it just +1 to int checks and like 3 skills? --Ghostwheel 16:42, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
Hrmmm[edit]
Can't decide if the build should be Factotum 3/Warblade 9/Eternal Blade 8. You give up 2 bonus feats, and in exchange get Cunning Defense and Brains Over Brawn, but you have much fewer inspiration points overall...... >_<
