OP[edit]

"If you would come under the effect of a spell or ability while having temporary hit points granted by this feat you may decide to completely negate it as a nonaction, doing so remove any temporary hit points you have left. This ability can be used before or after you roll saving throw and/or spell resistance." So, basically, you can ignore everything but an enemy with multiple crippling attacks? You just invalidated most blaster wizards, enchanters, dragonfire shamans, etc? --76.240.160.62 20:33, 16 September 2014 (UTC)

Well first off, none of the things are VH. Second there are ways to work around it, multiple hit spells, quickened, twinned spell. "Oh no, the fighter negate my first moonbow hit! Luckily there still four left!". Third invalidated wizards? Because a single character (who need 6 levels of fighter) is immune to their first trick in the round? They cannot get their buddy to just hit them first so they lose all that temp hp? In short, not I don't think it OP, there many way to get around it and even if you don't simple teamwork overcome the effect of this feat rather easily. --Leziad (talk) 20:47, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
I think you're underestimating the power of VH characters. Example: Twinned Split Empowered Enervations powered by nightsticks and Divine Metamagic. Scary stuff, but totally doable and viable in a VH game. Something with just this stance wouldn't stand a chance. --Ghostwheel (talk) 20:50, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
Beside all that most of the item players and major NPCs will have careful feat selection which may include this feat. I don't see how preventing one from being instantly dominated/killed/cursed/petrified is a bad thing. "This invalidate the wizard!" seem a wierd argument to me when it come to discuss a fighter feat. --Leziad (talk) 20:59, 16 September 2014 (UTC)
