So...it's a level-0 grease that isn't actually less powerful except for area size. --71.82.214.138 02:40, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Also:
It can only affect one creature at most, and that only once.
It can only be cast on an unnocupied area.
Only bipedal creatures can be affected.
It is not dismissable.
It can not be cast on an object. --Ideasmith (talk) 04:06, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Spell School[edit]

Mostly nitpicking here, but I gotta ask how this is a Necro spell. Seems to me like it would fit way more with something like Conjuration (which is what grease uses, for example). - TG Cid (talk) 04:26, 2 February 2013 (UTC)

Unlike grease, mantissa's banana peel does not create anything. While Conjuration (Creation) is the only subschool that creates things, the spell does not call, heal, summon, or teleport anything either. Looking over the school descriptions, I agree that Necromancy does not fit; the viable options seem to be Abjuration, Evocation, or Transmutation. --Ideasmith (talk) 04:44, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
Trans seems fine, since you are altering the properties of a previously existing thing. It's got my vote. - TG Cid (talk) 04:45, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
Transmutation it is. Change made.--Ideasmith (talk) 04:53, 2 February 2013 (UTC)
