Talk:Seduction (3.5e Skill)

Skill Bloat[edit]
Skill bloat is a thing, when you add more skills necessary to a character to do their function, they overall get worse at their total job. There are only so many skill points after all. This skill, it is entirely unneeded. You can already do all these things with a combination of Diplomacy, Bluff and Intimidate, applied where applicable. Honestly, if you were going to add seduction things to the game, go the route of skill tricks or Low- to Moderate-balance feats or something like that. --Ganteka Future (talk) 18:30, 5 May 2020 (UTC)
- I have to be in agreement, I can't see seduction being its own skill seeing that it is fairly well covered by bluff and diplomacy. Actually what I was kind of hoping it was is that this was an expansion on bluff, diplomacy, or both even, giving DCs for seduction-specific challenges. I believe either me or Leziad did so with Heal. -- Eiji-kun (talk) 10:43, 6 May 2020 (UTC)
