Uncarried Items[edit]
If you only have to make a touch attack against a carrier and not the item, does this mean you can disable any number of uncarried items at any distance without taking any actions? --Foxwarrior 19:18, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- Thanks! I clarified it. --Aarnott 16:02, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
So...[edit]
If my players are fighting on the darkest place of the elemental plane of negative energy (where you take 10 negative levels per round), I could get some mook to disable one of their magic items (the one that gives them protection from negative levels) and kill them automatically? Cool!! --Ghostwheel 19:27, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
- If you feel like being a jerk DM, you can also make rocks fall. I don't see the point. There are two conditions at play in your example. The first is that the players are in some plane where not being protected is basically instant death. The second is that you actually sent a mook at them with this specific ability. I suppose there are enough situations where this is a save or die, however, so I'm going to change the balance to wizard level ;). --Aarnott 16:02, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
- Mission success-desu! :-) --Ghostwheel 19:20, 7 August 2011 (UTC)
