Really interesting warrior class, I like it a lot. Only downside is the sheer number of prereqs -- could use one fewer, imo.

Fire Version[edit]

This PrC is awesome. I'd love to see a Fire-themed version at some point, if you're up for making such a thing. Surgo (talk) 02:40, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

Sure, give me a day or two and I should be able to have something satisfying ready. --Leziad (talk) 03:34, 10 August 2014 (UTC)

That true that a bit much. Let me think on that one. --Leziad (talk) 18:22, 19 February 2018 (MST)
It comes online at level 18, right? Probably just give it a longer delay (2d4 rounds) and call it a day. Surgo (talk) 21:18, 19 February 2018 (MST)
16, actually. Also...it's 150 HP on speed dial. That's...that's about a few.-SecondDeath777 23:36, 19 February 2018
Also, I just realized, you basically get a hyper damaging SoD once per round as a bloody attack action, and could kill an entire army of several hundred mid-level NPCs with a single move action, no save. This is only a half-epic PrC, and it's the strongest epic class in all homebrew, only beaten out by, if not on par with, literal divinity. Could I kill one if I planned correctly? Sure. But still, why so stronk? -SecondDeath777 03:30, 1 April 2018
What ability is this? I don't seem to remember it. Also I don't think it the strongest class in homebrew, even for blasting, it possible to make very powerful ki masters. --Leziad (talk) 14:11, 1 April 2018 (MDT)
Born of the Gods of Thunder adds a free Level 8 spell to an attack, adding at least 160 to damage, BARE minimum, and also adding that SoD if you keep it from spreading, or it simply wouldn't otherwise. Meanwhile, Flash of Lightning does 12 per character level just for passing through a target (minimum 228 damage), and given some careful zig-zag work, you could pass through a couple hundred hostiles, with fuck-all to stop you. And most things don't handle 228 damage well. -SecondDeath777 12:33, 2 April 2018
I nerfed the first one and the second one was a HUGE typo. Oh boy, 12 damage per character level. --Leziad (talk) 10:58, 2 April 2018 (MDT)
There we go. Much friendlier. -SecondDeath777 14:42, 2 April 2018
