Haven't looked super closely yet but it seems way better than the original RoW material at a glance, just by virtue of less ability bloat due to the elimination of the scaling special abilities (which were also, arguably, overpowered in a lot of cases and in any case were not consistent in power on their own terms) |

The original Tome armors left me a lot cold. These are much better done and do a much better job of making magic armor cool again. It's an easy version to recommend if you're tired of standard armors. |
The strange case of the +8's and +?'s
I think these were the correct values originally, but our MySQL installation has a fuckton of trouble understanding Unicode so they became +8 from +inf and +? from the unicode +1/3. Surgo (talk) 19:31, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
