Target:	One Humanoid, Monstrous Humanoid or Giant Creature
Duration:	1 Day/Level (D)

Spell Resistance:	Yes

This dark and unholy spell has a dual effect, firstly it place the target under the caster's control as per dominate person. However while doing so it also turn the creature into a drider, giving the target the drider template for the duration of the spell. The effect of the spell is not instantaneous, the transformation happen over the course of 3 rounds which allow the effect to be interrupted (such as by dispel magic or break enchantment). If either effects are entered prematurely, both immediately end.

After the effect end, the target's mind is left a total wreck by the demonic influence that took control of her body. She must make a Will save or turn into a drider permanently and become insane (as per variant insanity) and chaotic evil. The effect may be reversed with a wish or miracle. The creature take a -1 penalty to it save for each day it was under the effect of this spell (to a maximum of -5), it does not need to make the save if the transformation was interrupted. A successful Will save allow the creature to return to it base form.
