There would be enough leftovers here to feed the nation for a generation. Assuming you can down it before it destroys the nation.

Lord of turkeys, blessed with the power of thanksgiving, the turking is a unique but re-occurring being not unlike the tarrasque. Born from normal stock, the young turking does not stop growing until it has awakened to its full near divine power. Massive and plump, and only barely smarter than your average bird, the turking is not inherently violent. However, it can deplete entire farms of food and crush and stomp through civilizations, causing untold trouble.

The turking is said to understand Common, but does not speak nor really care usually. It is 80 ft long and very rotund, weighing in at 185 tons of delicious succulent meat.

Combat[edit]

The turking typically runs around randomly without a care, ignoring most threats that its hindering body and regeneration can handle. For actual threats, it will bide or peck and fatten its opponent, but is generally cowardly and does not mind running away. This can be a problem, and catching the thing is a pain in the butt.

The turking possesses a feral peck can thus it can full attack with its peck attack.

Bide (Su): A turking can store up damage it is taking and release it in an explosive burst. It can begin biding as a move action, and must dedicate a move action each round for 1d4 rounds in order for the bide to work. Any damage taken while it is biding harms it as normal, but also is stored as energy. At the start of its next turn after biding ends, it explodes in a shockwave of energy that deals half of the total damage it took while biding, out to a 20 ft radius centered on itself. It is unharmed by this ability, and it offers a DC 40 Reflex save for half. The save is Constitution based.

Delicious (Ex): The turking is really delicious. It counts as a strong smell for the purposes of scent, and creatures with Int 2 or lower with a bite attack instinctively want to use their bite attack on the turking. Which can be a problem due to their tryptophan meat (see below).

Ground Pound (Ex): As a full-attack action the turking can move up to its move speed and up to 60 ft up, then slam down with heavy force. Alternatively, a flying turking can drop down up to 600 ft and crash into the ground. Creatures three sizes or smaller than the turking (Large or smaller) are crushed, taking 4d6+15 bludgeoning damage and must make a DC 40 Reflex save or be pinned, automatically taking bludgeoning damage during the next round unless the turking moves off them. If the turking chooses to maintain the pin, treat it as a normal grapple attack.

Creatures who are not under the turking but are within 30 ft of the turking must make the Reflex save or fall prone and take the damage as non-lethal damage, save negates.

The turking never takes fall damage from using this ability.

Hinder All Damage (Ex): The turking has hindrance against all forms of damage, even physical damage, unless attacked by a creature of its size or larger.

Immunities (Ex): The turking is immune to ability damage, ability drain, death effects, energy drain, fear, paralysis, petrification, and polymorph effects.

Muddled Mind (Ex): Whenever subject to a mind-affecting effect, the turking can choose to become confused for the duration instead of its normal effect.

Regeneration (Ex): The turking's regeneration is bypassed by fire damage. Oddly, the spell cone of melted butter also bypasses it, and suppresses its regeneration for 1 round.

Trample (Ex): Reflex half DC 40. The save DC is Strength-based.

The Fattening (Su): Once per round as a free action, the turking can afflict a curse upon a creature it has successfully attacked. The creature becomes fat and rotund, increasing their encumbrance by one step (light to medium to heavy, to a maximum of overloaded as if lifting their maximum load to double their maximum load overhead), save negates. Treat this as bestow curse for the purposes of duration and counters. The DC is 30, and the saving throw is Wisdom based.

Tryptophan Meat (Ex): The turking is delicious, but it can cause sleepiness. Creatures which make bite attacks against the turking or otherwise ingest it must make a DC 40 Fortitude save or fall asleep. When slain and properly cooked, its DC drops to DC 10, and takes 1 minute to kick in.

Unstoppable (Ex): The turking can make sunder attempts against unattended objects and terrain as a free action when it is moving. If it fails to break the object, its movement ends.

It can break through force effects. For the purposes of break DCs, the break DC is 10 + the caster level of the effect.
