Wave of Chaos [Salient Ability]
You remove your mask, allowing the mortals to witness madness beyond madness.Prerequisites: Divine Rank 1, Chaotic alignment subtypeBenefit: The deity can create a wave of mental force that extends from the deity in a spread with a radius of 10 feet per divine rank. Creatures within the spread must make Will saves (DC 10 + 1/2 HD + Cha modifier) or be forced to act unpredictably. This ability works like a confusion spell which lasts as long as they remain in the area and for 1d4+1 rounds after they leave. The madness bypasses mind-affecting immunity, though those who would normally be immune get a +6 on their saving throws. Creatures which remain confused for more than one minute must make a second save or go permanently insane.
Creatures with HD equal to your divine rank or less cannot handle the madness, dealing enough Wisdom damage to bring them to 0 and making them fall into comas. Most wake up permanently insane from the harrowing experience, if they wake up at all.
This aura can be toggled on and off as a standard action.
Special: Suitable for deities of Chaos, Confusion, and Madness.
