"That wasn't me."
Originally a creation by a prankster frat boy studying at the Arcane University of Dalaan, this spell imbues a touched seat, stool, table or horizontal surface no larger than 5 by 5 feet, with an invisible magical inscription that, upon being touched or otherwise disturbed by any living creature will immediately let loose a lingering yet thunderous farting noise lasting roughly 1 round. The effect is sound only, and thankfully does not include any scent. Once the fart is sounded, the spell ends.
The effects of whoopee are harmless, though shrewd young apprentice mages have found use for the spell as an impromptu security measure while sneaking about in places they shouldn't be, using the rather unwelcoming sound of the spell to alert them of any passing hall monitors.
