This heavy thick red wool cloak is multi-layered and stitched with double stitching and hemming. The trim of the hood and trailing edge are lined with fluffy white fur. An ivory clasp with cords ties it shut. Several buttoned pockets can be found on the inside. New cloaks are often sold with a white fur muff.
This cloak functions as a cold weather outfit plus the effects of endure elements (cold only). The wearer quickly dries and is otherwise kept comfortable from typical weather and precipitation. From one of the inner pockets, three times per day the wearer can reach in and pull out a flavorful spiced ration sufficient to nourish herself as a full meal and which cures 1 point of damage when eaten (as a goodberry). Provided with the cloak and stored in another pocket is a one pint flask. When she draws out the empty flask with a command, the flask is filled with either pure cool water or hot spiced mead. The cloak can produce up to a gallon of drink in this way per day. This is a property of the cloak and the flask otherwise has no magical properties. When the wearer utters a command word, the winterful cloak expands once per day to the size of a one person tent (which confers its cold weather protection to those on the inside).
In addition, once per day as an immediate action, the cloak can be activated with a command to grant you resistance 10 (cold) which lasts until the start of your next turn.
