Energy Missile Damage[edit]

9 (ML) + 3 (Wild Surge) + 2 (Midnight Augmentation) + 1 (Torc of Power Preservation) + 1 (Circlet of Wild Surging) = 16d6+16+16 (Privileged Energy) = 16d6+32 damage, Ref save for half

Tactics[edit]

  • Manifest Energy Missile, expending your psionic focus for Midnight Augmentation, and regain it on the same round through Psionic Meditation.

Further Optimization[edit]

  • Pick up levels in Sanctified Mind (Lords of Madness) or take Mark of the Dauntless (Dragonmarked) to gain resistance/immunity to the daze condition that occurs should you Enervate.

Limitations[edit]

  • You can potentially run out of PP really quickly. Pace yourself.

DM Counters[edit]

  • Space enemies out farther than 30' apart.
  • Have multiple encounters to force the character to lose all their PP.
  • Make enemies untargetable by spells via things like total cover or concealment.

Variants[edit]

  • You can use just about any race that starts with essentia.
  • Be a psion instead of a wilder and pick up Overchannel.
  • The same thing can be done with other powers that augment well; for example, using the same basic formula, one could manifest a level 7 astral construct by level 7.
