Distracting Barrage [Fighter]
The cunning archer knows that there are times when peppering his enemies with suppressing fire can turn the tide of a battle far more quickly than simply shooting mindlessly at them.Prerequisites: Rapid ShotBenefit: Activating this feat requires a move action and the expenditure of five arrows, bolts, bullets, daggers, or whatever is appropriate for the ranged weapon you use. If you do so, choose a single creature that does not have concealment or cover within the range at which you can deal precision damage (usually within 30 feet) or within the first range increment of your weapon (whichever range is greater). That creature takes a -2 penalty on damage rolls, attack rolls, and the DCs of their abilities and effects until the beginning of your next turn because they dodge or worry about your attacks.
Special: When you reach a BAB of +6, this feat may instead be used as a swift action. When you reach a BAB of +9, this feat may instead be used as a move action to apply the penalty above to all enemies that do not have concealment or cover within a cone with the same range as above. This feat may only be used once per round.
Author's note: This feat was inspired by material from The Book of Experimental Might II.
