Obtain the Worst Familiar [General]
You cut a few corners on the familiar summoning ritual. It was really cheap, but you got what you paid for.Prerequisites: Caster level 1stBenefit: You get a familiar. However, you get no familiar benefits. In fact, it's just a regular animal which for some reason understands you (but not vice versa). On the flip side, you count as having a familiar and if the familiar dies (because it is a regular animal) you take no penalty or backlash, and it re-appears after 1 hour. At least, I think it's the same one...
Special: If your class gives you an animal companion or familiar, you can instead Obtain the Worst Familiar. Not sure why you'd want to...
