Scaling Feat Bonus are based on HD.
- 1 HD: You gain Scribe Scroll, as well as arcane mark and read magic as spell-like abilities, at will. If you already have Scribe Scroll, the caster level of your own scrolls are set to your caster level and spell DC (as if casting from a staff) when you cast them, without changing the price.
- 3 HD: You can read the contents of an entire book with a touch as a standard action. You can also choose to have perfect memory of any text, though you may only memorize a single book at a time. If you have a spellbook, this allows you to use your spellbook even if you do not have access to it, as long as it is memorized.
- 8 HD: You gain read in my voice as a spell-like ability 1/day. Symbol spells and other text based magical effects and traps only have a 50% chance of activating when you witness them.
- 15 HD: When you make an arcane mark you become aware whenever a creature reads it, and may choose to concentrate on it as a standard action. If you do, you gain visual and auditory awareness from the point of view from your mark as if you were there. Doing so counts as scrying, and is subject to detection and countermeasures as such. When you are concentrating, you may have your mark shift briefly allowing you to communicate (text only) to the creature you are scrying on. Lastly, you no longer activate symbol spells and other text based magical effects and traps.
