This spell is Freeze Blood, a necromancy [cold] spell. But it seems in the efforts to make a balanced utilitarian save or die, it kinda tramped all over that. It isn't really freezing, or affecting blood, or a cold spell. The description and mechanics of the spell need to match up more.

Its still odd with the wording, but now cold-immune things are effectively immune to this spell (being immune to the death-like effect, then the subsequent cold damage).

In fairness, this seems an extraordinarily easy fix. Change the spell school to transmutation and you're good to go, in my opinion. Given that this isn't an actual death effect, just a save or die, doing so seems appropriate to me. - TG Cid 21:11, 2 July 2012 (UTC)
