First of all, this is probably miscategorized. From the description, it sounds like an enchanted item (mundane items not on fire don't blow warm air). Why not just make a similar item enchanted with Prestidigitation so it really can dry things quickly? |

Lol, this is awesome.
"Hey Bob, check out what I made out of some turkey and 30 bottles of glass." "A gun that shoots only wetness! Perfect!" |
Picture of Hate[edit]
Heh, I don't understand the hate-on for the picture. It's a hair dryer alright.
Anyway, as clarification (though I'm not the author) it's a technological item, so it doesn't need to be magical to produce heat. It works as a normal hair dryer is want to, via a power source and some metal coils. -- Eiji-kun 10:52, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- My face is the picture of hate! Insane Grimace! Okay, not really, but now that you're reading this, I actually got a more steam-punk impression upon first reading this. Something along the lines of the hairdryer holding a chunk of coal and the wielder turns a hand crank, operating a fan blade/flint n'steel sparker. Though, if you really wanted it to be one-handed, the handle could be a small bellows that ratchets and cranks the aforementioned fan/sparker dingus. --Ganteka Future 16:57, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- I agree with Eiji, the picture shouldn't make it hated. And yes, the Hair Dryer is a technological/steampunk item. The Dire Reverend 20:05, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- All right, maybe the picture shouldn't factor into it. I've edited the above. As for a technological item, I don't see how an electric hair dryer can dry a creature soaked through in a minute. Prestidigitation, a power which happens to be had by Plushies, can dry things quickly. --Quey 21:56, 7 August 2012 (UTC)
