Phenomenist[edit]
A phenomenist is a scholar of psychic magic, she studies the various psychic phenomenon, learning from them and using the acquired knowledge to empower herself. The class is populated by esoteric scientists, crazed occultists and well-learned philosophers who have significant psychic potential.
One of the phenomenist‘s most curious abilities is her anomalous blast, which is composed of psychic energy cultivated by the phenomenist‘s studies of the universe and her own psyche.
Making a Phenomenist[edit]
A phenomenist is a partial spellcaster with access to the psychic list. She has access to powerful reality spheres which expand her spellcasting and grants her many very useful spells earlier than other classes. The anomalous blast is one of the phenomenist’s best tools in combat, allowing her for steady damage at range. Finally a phenomenist excels at skills such as knowledge or perception, allowing her to be a good spotter for the party and identify threats, monsters and lore. However a phenomenist is hardly a melee combatant and her spellcasting lag behind compared to a full caster.
Abilities: A phenomenist’s Intelligence is prime, it determines all aspects of her spellcasting, many class features and the damage of her anomalous blast. A good dexterity and constitution ensure she hits her opponents and survives a fight.
Races: The study of the world from the side of psychic magic is very strange indeed, very few races have an inclination toward it, only individuals.
