| +10 racial ability bonus — are you for real?!? Balance isn't typically my top concern when I design or rate something — I'm more concerned with fun — but even I can see that this is nuts!

| As all the "Denizen of X", it's both unusable and uninteresting. If it was one or the other it could probably be okay, as there's plenty of stuff that falls into one of those camps, but with both it's completely useless.

Ugh. Short version: This is unplayable and lopsided.
Maybe its the way the flavor speaks in absolutes (Always! Never!) that rubs me the wrong way. Maybe it's all the missing details and questions that get raised or the shoddy descriptions that attempt a style, which I guess isn't my style. It just needs more, and I don't mean more than a +10 to an ability score. Plus, oh hey, it's a denizen of shadow, I bet these guys are from the plane of shad… oh, negative energy plane… but also native outsiders. Hmmm. I bet they get cool negative energy abilit… oh, they don't. Well, maybe they get an ability that explains why they're so totally evil th… oh, nope. So, basically unplayable out of the box. It gets three class skills. None of which are based toward it's primary ability. So, not only does it have nothing to do in combat, it isn't going to be doing much of anything outside of combat either. So much for all that supposed charm (Backstab!). Ugh.

HD Typo?
